I Didn’t Tell Anyone I Was Doing This.
We tend to think of science and creativity as two very separate things, putting them in man-made boxes from the time we enter school at a young age. In school, you get put with the math kids or the art kids, and there isn’t much in between. But we can’t have one without the other. Science and creativity are symbiotic. They are part of the human experience, a way to understand the world, and tools for healing.
I didn’t tell anyone I was thinking about a podcast. Not my boyfriend, not my mom, not even my dog. The truth is that I didn’t know I was going to do it until I did it. It was just one of those ideas that kept nagging at me until I woke up one morning and words came pouring out.
Think about your favorite podcast for a moment. . . .okay, got it? Good. Now, lower your standards by 50%, and that’s a pretty good idea of what to expect from me. I’m not putting any pressure on this. I will not be promising clockwork consistency, perfect sound quality, or fancy schmancy social media. I’m starting with what interests me, the ideas I want to bring into the world, and the people who are making it better with their creative, philosophical, and healing work.
